Our space is geared towards helping people who have -

• A specific project in mind, and
• A rough idea of how to execute it (for non members), and
• The motivation to learn the required skills.

For example, if your project is to make a wooden box, our volunteers can -

• Provide general guidance on what woodworking tools and techniques might be appropriate, and
• Training and inductions for the relevant woodworking tools, so you can use them safely.

Our volunteer time is limited, which means:

• Our assistance is provided on a "best effort" basis.
• In depth advice on specific projects is only available for members.
• We can show you how to use a tool safely, but practicing, experimenting, and learning how to get good results with that tool is up to you.
• We can suggest and troubleshoot techniques, but learning and executing those techniques is up to you.
