CNC Plasma Cutter workshop adaptation
We've had a CNC plasma cutter generously donated to the workshop but it needs some work to adapt it to our workshop. In particular we need to:
- Add wheels that can support the weight of the loaded machine (750+kg!)
- Fill the waterbath with a variety of additives
- Adapt our power infrastructure to support the cutter itself

Compressor
As the variety of tools expands so too does the demand for simultaneous tool usage. No area of the space has felt this effect more than our air tools. A larger variable speed screw compressor will all but remove the duty cycle limits on all air tools in the space.
In particular this upgrade will improve:
- Laser cutting (Big Red)
- CNC routing (pneumatic chip clearing)
- Plasma cutting (Both table and handheld)
- Sand blasting
- All other air tools (no more compressor tripping!)
- Noise volume in the courtyard and shed (significantly quieter!)

Attachments for slow speed grinder
We have been donated a Scheppach slow speed wet grinder, but we need at least $100 accessories to get it up and going.
More money will allow us to buy other accessories to make it useful for more projects.
$100 wheel dresser and flat platform
$170 total adds a knife sharpening jig
$250 total gets the above plus a honing wheel for wood carving chisels.
*** New stretch goal to add a jig for smaller knives added - $310

Replacement Table Saw
We have recently received a grant to replace our Triton table saw but the model we're looking at costs more than the grant.
The DeWalt DWE7491-XE is a 2000W 10" portable saw with several advantages over our existing Triton model.
More portable and storable - The saw attaches to a provided stand allowing us to store it on a shelf or under a bench
More accurate adjustment - Since this saw isn't a "circular saw bolted to the table" style the angle/depth adjustments are much easier to access.
